Hi, I'm Laura Galbato
After an enjoyable career as a compensation consultant, I returned to earlier passions of mosaic art, photography, writing, and the creative aspects of technology. Creating mosaic art is my second act, my passion.
To learn and grow in this incredible art, I traveled nationally and internationally to study under globally-recognized artists, completed numerous online courses, and advanced through self-study. I continue to study, learn, and engage with the global community of mosaic artists.
I love creating mosaic art and the balance it brings to my life. It is gratifying and combines the act of designing with the satisfaction of physically building art.
Is this course for me?
This class is designed for someone who has some experience cutting glass and grouting. The class will provide grouting tips relative to this project, but will not describe how to mix and apply grout.
If you're a beginner and really want to make this mirror, I've put together some great resources on my website. I also have a blog post that covers how to get started in mosaic art. That way, you'll gain some experience cutting glass and become comfortable grouting your mosaic projects before you begin this project.
I hope you’ll join me for this workshop, because the result will be a stunning, elegant glass mirror for your home!
